yeah so this may appear a gratuitous post & it sort of is but I dunno, I like this weird cousin-it-ly picture of myself. I’d just had a shower & no make-up & stuff. I don’t often like pictures of myself that aren’t all contrived - lol. I dunno though, I think there is something key going on in here. Like I look happy. My eye has a twinkle!
Ugh I love animals so much more than humans.

Spending my Friday night listening to Tenhi, drinking tea & building a bibliography about conflict within Buddhism. Having a look at the Dalit Buddhist Movement as a reaction to religious diversity and being placed at the bottom tier of a caste system.
I’m a little worried that I’m going to become almost unknown amongst my friends. I feel distanced. I hope they understand where I am coming from, that my attempting post-graduate work is something that I need to do for myself, that it’s a previously untested dream.
I feel like I have just recently learned to be less of a misanthrope but now I am forced back, by time restraints, into being a solitary path taker for a while. It’s stressful because I feel like I was just beginning to build some good relationships and now I can’t keep working on those. This week has been super rough as my student funds were cut off and then decreased. Totally unexpectedly too, mind you. The implication has been that I will qualify for student funds since January, now, I’m told I don’t qualify.
But alas this hurdle shall be jumped. I feel really behind with my work too but alas, I must make this work out. I will summon all the magick within me to make it so!
Benefits of Green Tea!
- Green tea has the potential to fight cancer and heart disease, along with lowering cholesterol, burning fat, preventing diabetes and stroke, and fighting off dementia.
- Green tea’s antioxidants, called catechins, scavenge for free radicals that can damage DNA and contribute to cancer, blood clots, and atherosclerosis. Grapes and berries, red wine, and dark chocolate also have potent antioxidants.
- A Dutch study of more than 3,000 men and women found that the more tea consumed, the less severe the clogging of the heart’s blood vessels, especially in women.
- Green tea and its extract have been shown to fight obesity and lower LDL “bad” cholesterol — two risk factors for heart disease and diabetes.
The best way to get the most out of green tea, even if your main goal is losing weight, is to drink it!
